Miamia? S Truly Wild Side

Miami has a variety of attractions for tourists to the slaughter of animals and birds. These include the Miami Seaquarium, Monkey Jungle Parrot Jungle Island and Miami Zoo. But even more attractive are truly wild animals and birds to see in South Florida. The Intracoastal Waterway and other channels along the highways and roads and many lakes in residential areas and along the road attract birds, especially waterfowl. For the best experience, South Florida, near Miami, has numerous parks where you can really wild to be seen.

In Palm Beach ago Grassy Waters Preserve, Marine Life, June beach, boardwalk and Hungryland Trail, John D. MacArthur Beach State Park, Okeeheelee Park Nature Center. In the area of Boca Raton, there Gumbo Limbo Nature Center, and Fern Forest Nature Center.

In Hollywood, it is Anne Kolb Nature Center West Lake Park, Broward County Tree Tops Park, while Greynolds Park in Miami Beach is located. Two of these parks, they are accessible to people in the Miami area south are Biscayne National Park and Everglades National Park.

Biscayne National Park 9700 SW 328th St., Homestead removed. Ninety percent of this marine park is underwater and features colorful coral reefs and undeveloped keys in Biscayne Bay. There are three campgrounds in the park, Long Pine Key, Flamingo, and Chekika and all campsites are open all year. Canoes can be rented at Flamingo and Gulf Coast. Bicycles are prohibited from parking along the main roads on the way to the Shark Valley tram, on the Old Ingraham Highway, Near Long Pine Key trail and the Bay of Snakes and Rowdy Bend trails at Flamingo. Homes are at the main entrance (west of Homestead), Royal Palm, Flamingo, Shark Valley is located and the Gulf Coast (south of Everglades City).

However, it is in the range of animals to observe, that the Everglades National Park truly amazed. More than 300 species of birds have been recorded, seven of which are rare or endangered. Migratory birds that use the Everglades National Park, as a critical wintering areas, as well as a stopover. Species include the Cape May Warbler, peregrine falcons, warblers and tree swallows. The marsh rabbit is higher in freshwater marshes, Pinelands municipalities, coastal and plains. Raccoons and opossums are common creatures in the park, the gray fox is most often seen in the area of hardwood hammocks. Otters are frequently seen in spring on the Anhinga Trail and Shark Valley. The Florida panther, a subspecies of the cougar is found in the park, but they are afraid of what is seen rarely. Bobcat, unlike the Florida panther as endangered, is common in the Everglades National Park. Although mainly nocturnal short, this small (15 to 25 lbs) cat in Virginia is often created. It can be seen walking the path of Bear Lake, the Snake Bight Trail, and the Main Park Road.

The Caribbean manatee is a marine mammal, which grows to 1,000 pounds and U.S. venture through the waters of coastal Louisiana to Virginia. During the winter months, they seek the warm waters of Florida Bay, where they are often seen by visitors. You can often Whitewater Bay, Hells Bay and be seen along the west coast. Alligators are common in freshwater marshes of the park, and sometimes enter brackish waters of Florida Bay. See the best time for alligators in the park during the winter dry season. Meanwhile, they congregate near bodies of water deeper. All sizes and ages, from babies ten inches sometimes twenty or thirty feet long is an adult, can be seen lazing on the beach along the Anhinga Trail.
